The strong threads of the learner.

 

Our vision reflects the importance of our school name, which was gifted to us in 2015 by Ngāti Te Whiti. Te Kura Ō Mōrere means the school of swings. Swings are strong when the threads which make up the rope are woven together. These threads make up our Taura Whiri (Values). We currently have 3 values and they are Ako, Whanaungatanga and Kaitiakitanga. We are adding Manaakitanga to the Taura Whiri. This is about respect and care.
